There may well be some alias's going on Kev but not from CNAT. Theres no hiding going on from him and all he says is true including the waters he says he's fished. I know, i've seen the photo album.
So whats this thread all about? Well for me it was just about pointing out that people shouldnt devalue what Conningbrook and Two-Tone are all about. The fact is some people seem to naturally put the lake and fish down, unwilling or unable to appreciate what an enormous achievement catching any carp from there is never mind the biggest. These people must sit on Redes thinking they are the bees-knees and have reached the pinnacle of carp fishing

The point of the pic is to highlight how easy it is for people to be mistaken. There are some people who are held in very high esteem as 'anglers' People who have great respect from others. The pic highlights how easy it is to get it wrong.
Now I dont think theres a proper angler on here who could disagree with me here but if i'm brutally honest then the pic could be a chapter in the 'bad angling' book. The captor is holding the fish with very outstretched arms, appears to be stood up and to top it all the carp is covered in dirt. Bad angling in the extreme and all this from someone who is highly thought of. Its very easy to form an incorrect opinion of a person...

Last one from me on what has been a pointless thread, started to stir up **** by someone who prefers to remain anonymous and championed by his friend who also prefers to remain anonymous. Boring for the majority, a pain for me because nameless keyboard warriors spoil the general good spirit of the forum that Braidman must remember it to have once been to have volunteered to moderate it at one time, maybe Finbar you also can think back to the forums earlier days. I'm pretty sure you can.

Finbar you probably remember in that not so distant past, under a different name at the time, that the pic you posted was done to death and Stig owned up to not handling the fish as well as maybe he should have, I even posted as well on the thread likening the pose to offering the fish as sacrifice to the bear stood in front of him. You must remember it to have searched for a pic that was posted before you were a member and maybe not many others have seen. Maybe you have some pics you're not proud of, maybe not, guess we'll never know.

The point of the pic is not to highlight how easy it is for people to be mistaken, you've had a cheap shot because Stig has had a dig at your mate Braidman, I'm not defending Stig because he's more than capable of doing that himself, but just about sums you up for me.
