Default river Douglas carp.

Hi Guys.
Ive heard rumors of decent carp in the Dougie for some time now. Have any of you heard the same?.
I did see a couple of high single figure carp near scot lane new pond about 6 years ago when I was eel fishing on there. The rivers a lot cleaner these days as well. had a few decent chub from it this year. intrested in the carp as well though for curiosity reasons.

Cheers.
Tony.

I believe there are some good carp in the douglas as a mate of mine has just bought a bungalow that back onto it and he has been told there are double figure carp in there .
I'll let you know if he catches any as he has a couple of pegs at the bottom of his garden

Just remembered a friend had two last year to 14+

been dabbling on the duggy with my trotting rod just for chub and roach really. Had a few nice dace higher up.
Not really interested in the carp as such but if you know any decent stretches for the chub I'd be interested.. PM if you like...
