As many will know I fish an old "day only" haunt of Richie's, the other week a few of us had noticed that "Richies bush" looked like it had had a make over. During a recent far bank raid, we saw some of our traps had been sprung as well as the "swim" being opened up again.
Last night a few us did a night time raid and found Eddie Joyce and friend Ryan Maidley (spelling) happily fishing away, with no cards, out of hours in the out of bounds, they were "politely" asked to pack up and leave where by they were met by the police and the head baliff and taken off to the "nick".
I think its fair to say NAA will be pi55ed, what they do we'l know in good time.
As said before with Richie, its not personal against anyone, but if you come to fish the pond and do so outside the rules, then get ready for tidal wave of sh17 to come your way, everyone looks after the lake like its their own and come down hard on anyone who abuses it or puts the fishing at risk, if we catch you, you will be named and shamed, no exceptions !

Good to see the lads fishing there are looking after the place well and dealing with rule breakers in a proper way. Not something you see on most club waters so well done chaps.

If you know people are poaching the lake why not name them Blankmaster, or do you condone poaching?

i didnt actually say that i knew the names of people poaching petty pool did i?????
sorry if the way i worded my post seemed like that ..
if i did i would have named them no worries and offered them up for slaughter rather than myself .

lets face it dosent take a nasa boffin to work out a water like this round this neck of the woods with that caliber of fish is gonna attract all manner of stroke pullers, poachers, etc, etc,

anyway never mind .....

Good result fellas.
Strange how anglers with the capability of catching fish consistantly, get this urge to sh*t on everyone and everything that is good about carp angling. I get more and more disallusioned with modern carp fishing every season.

I think there should be harsher penalties for this type of poaching to try and put people off doing such things. A telling off or small fine just isn't a big enough deterrent. In my youth I did silly things but had there been a bigger penalty for getting caught then that would definately made me think twice.

I just dont get it?

If Mr Solomon said I could fish from his garden and i caught I know it would not count, well not to me anyway.

Now i could understand that if someone who struggles to catch fish anywhere, just trying it on to see whats its like to catch and play a fish.

But for any decent angler, I have only one question? " who are you kidding" ?
