Default wasted journey

hi,need opinions from the mods here, last weekend 9 of us made a 2hundred and odd mile round trip to a fishery and noticed two bivvies set up on the lake with no one using them.turns out they belonged to 2 of the lads in the on site tackle shop, who were saving the pegs for themselves, which i thought was very unfair as they seemed to be the only pegs that had any fish showing in them.
can i name and shame them on here as it fairly ruined our trip.

Would be good if you could mate! could save a lot of mither. The fish were probably showing there because they were prebaiting! would be my guess anyway.

But as you were willing to Pay to fish I would have asked the Owner/Manager to get them to shift.

Go on Mods let him Name and Shame otherwise we will all just start guessing!

Who,s First?

id personally not name the lads but name the fishery where it happened .

somethink i dont agree with is people bivvying up then leaving to go to work if you are not fishing your tackle or bivvy shouldnt be there. it used to happen on a water i was fishing quite alot you were allowed to be away from your swim for 4 hours as long as your rods were out but they were at work from morning till night more like 12 hours

no mate ,their bivvys were empty all weekend.i wouldn`t have minded if they were at least doing the nights to be honest.not even bothered about the 25 notes each we paid either worst thing was the travelling, not like we knew any where else to go once we were there...won`t go again .enough said but i`d like to be able to name the place to save others wasting a long journey...

Just get them named and shamed so long as you are telling the truth there is nothing to worry about, this kind of practice is a pish take and should be stopped and the only way to stop it is to vote with your feet so get the louses names up with the fishery name. Then send them an email with a shortcut to this thread I bet it wont be long before an apology comes with maybe a free session.

Got to agree with bobbins on this one, as long as its all the truth, you have nothing to worry about and a free session to look forward to with choice of swims...

Name and shame name and shame...lol

Me and my mate had a to do once with a sparsholt lad on manor farm richworth he was trying to save his swim with a bucket till he finished his work at 6pm this was at 9 am. I said no way mate £25 we paid there clearly staited in the rules that there was no swim holding. He tryied to get the balif to shift us off fortunatley we were paly with 'good ol Roy'lol. He laughed at the lad and said tuff titty.
Its fair game if he was getting his gear out of the car like but not holding it all day .
You were the paying customer mate!!**** em.lol

Funnily enough tho and this is funny but painfull he's the lad holding cut tail @38llb in this months BC magazine. I ****ed me self when I saw it.
He's worked hard for it tho it was April when we were there. Hes put the time in.

Would have to agree with that. However, be very sure of your facts first. It's often best to speak to the top man before going off on one in public, as what might have seemed the case on the day could turn out to be something very different.

Not saying that's the case here, but after past rants which have turned out not to be the exact case, we've had to pull posts, issue apologies and have even had threats or court action - something I could well do without right now.

If it is as you say, I think it's actually worse that they weren't even fishing the swims - resting them purposefully perhaps?

Totally out of order.
