guys i really didnt want all this debate on what i had asked, and for the record you dont have to apply for a position that you do not get paid for you and this is not a venture its a hobby but thanks anyway.

As directed when i joined this forum i read the forum rules before i posted and no where did it say about asking for permission regarding this subject so perhaps a little twicking on the rules. As a commercial interest im sure this site might have gained a little something from the articles if i had worded it right im nice that way julian!

I think anglers know the score when it comes to the magazine what happens and how to do it and it was put as a quick post as i do have three other businesses to run that i do count on for my income and as this is a hobby if you send them you send them if you dont you dont. Now if was a business that i depended on then thats different.

Please don’t think I've got the ar$e. As I said in my very first post I wish you all the best with it – seriously - I was merely passing comment like I do on countless other threads each day!

Had I not been happy I would simply have pulled the thread – but that was never my intention. I’m all for promoting the quality of waters and fish the NW has to offer, and as such was happy to let it ride – you’ve obviously had some positive results already so all’s good.

My only bug bear was the commercial interest thing. The bottom line is that you might be doing this out of the goodness of your heart (and that’s commendable) but your publisher is most definitely not! That’s all!


For what it's worth I will forward info from time to time for a few waters I'm involved with - what you choose to do with it is entirely up to you!

cheers mate and will do had another one later that day so 4 in total believe sunny 1 has been fishing its nuts of 100 odd fish out in the last three weeks
