Hi all,
Going on a bit of a social with old work colleagues to manley mere( their choice ) on sunday and just wondered if anyone could give me a little edge over them, ( what with me being a fellow monkey and them not ) Have checked the website but doesnt say much about whats in there, just says no boilies and barbless only which dismays me a little especially the barbless bit ( plenty on klinik on hand then ) Any info greatly appreciated.

First things first nice capes fish fella, well done.

Manley mere is that the windsurfing center ? is so fished it couple of times in the close, proper pastie bashin m8 good fun, ad prob 20 carp in a 5hr session, only small tho upto bt 10lb but proper violent 1 toners,

Fished usual 10mm bright pop-ups in bags of pellet, asfar as you can chuck seems to work, head for first point soon as you hit the water (behind the hedge), ok if you goin in the week, weekends are manic with allsorts of waterbound idiots so head for the banks the wind isn't headin into (coz all the plebs end up there), fairly shallow with bits of weed here and there.

Errr...... Isn't this a bit out of order?

Surely calling windsurfers/sailors 'idiots' and 'plebs' is more than a little bit juvenile and rude? Especially when you chose to go fishing at a lake owned, run and operated primarily as a windsurfing and sailing centre. What on earth did you expect when you went there?

think greensman is saying just keep away from the windward bank as thats were all the windsurfers head for with there been more wind there

or am i reading into this a little to deeply ????
