Hay lads. Just wondered if anyone new if it was owened by a club or if its free fishing???

£5 per day on a day ticket and get your ticket from either Biddulph town hall or the ranger if i remember right.

No nights then .Bugger. I've had a few walks around bit of a mission to get there I think I've seen most of the fish lol. They were all stacked up in one corner a bigf shoal of mirrors. The biggest is a 28 i believe??
Some of the mirrors I saw were a good 20+. Nice water though very tranquille. Can't see it getting to packed with that walk either.

yer there is a night syndicate, run by group 2 anglers..not sure if they are taking on thou, best speak to the ranger, he may be able to point you in the right direction.

a handful of 20's, most being doubles with one around 25lb to 28lb..usually.

Biddulph grange is hardly a big water mate a fish that can nudge 30 is not bad for that water plus plenty of doubles as well.It used to be quite easy fishing multiple catches each day.They liked a floater as well.Not fished it for a good few years wouldnt mind going back for a day.I netted the biggun once at 27.4 for a bream angler...

I would say it might be manmade mate but would hazard a guess that it was the 1870's and not the 1970's....lol...(have you seen the boathouse it must have been some shoddy firm it was built in the 1970's..)

I went sunday had a 10lber from peg 2. went for a walk and seen them all shoaled up near the boat house so i moved threw a floater in and they all ****ed off lol they then decided to cruise up and down for the rest of the afternoon not really interested in my bait I spoke to the ranger and he said he son was on fri night/satday with a mate they had 4 fish between them smallest 6lb biggest was the big 1. Willy i think he said and it came out at 28lb 10oz .

Lake is run by Group 2 angling you must buy day tickets at biddulph town hall no night fishing, any litter in peg will have you thrown of the water barbless hooks only , two rods dog walker heaven
