last season mate..he doesnt fish anymore he never replaced it to the same standard.....i witnessed 3 tackle thefts when i used to fish it albeit a few years ago now....im not trying to put the bear off fishing the pits ( as suggested by others) i was giving him an honest opinion of my experiences on there....im not saying that everyone has a bad experinces but they do happen...i had some good years and some memerable captures but its somewhere i would never go back to....its always been a busy water but the balif hasnt helped by putting a bounty on the big uns head...the best thing his to let bear make his own mind up and to see whether its for him or not...

well said, didn't realise there were tackle thefts last year!!!!

i suppose like anywhere, it has its downsides and its a case of weighing up the situation you find yourself in.

some good fish in pit 6 especially mate...and i think if it werent for these then it wouldnt see quite the pressure it does...
