I think thats the wrong question to ask on here mate.
Most who fish capesthorne will not give you any info about the place.
If your planning on fishing there its best just to get on there & fish the place... Thats the best way you can find out what works.
Trial & Error.

i fished the main lake a lot in the last couple of years and any decent bait will work , the most important thing though is to locate the fish and not just pick a peg that looks nice
i wouldnt personally recommend lots of bait and most importantly persevere at it m8 !

i find this quite strange... a guy asks for info on a popular water like Capesthorne and a few of you think its all secret squirrel?

i have spoken to loads on the bank there who have gave up plenty of info.. plus theres threads on here that gives loads of info...

as mentioned though fella its worth trying a variety of rigs and baits, maximise your opportunities etc... it gets weedy in places yet i love the weed some people dont... garden pool is very popular with a lot of anglers but dont neglect the other swims take a good wander round and look for the tell tail signs of fish
