Day ticket venues around Merseyside?

Its the time when all bright minds turn to carping!

Any tips on day ticket carping around Merseyside, to an area about an hours drive?

nothing much doing in merseyside only park lakes, theres a couple of day ticket waters out towards southport, nothing big and nothing really carp orientated, southport is lancashire though i think, and if your going into lancashire you might aswell head to wyreside, think its probably about the best carp fishery around that way, although like any day ticket, its over priced and rammed. it has a very healthy stock of carp though. sunny 1 is meant to be a cracker of a water for runs, if you hit one your on for a 20 apparently. if thats your cup of tea.
