apparently 1000quid fine if your caught on there mate. i'd imagine there are a few in there but doubt it'll be worth the risk for the fine.

Rather spend a grand on a good syndicate than paying a fine...No contest!

Who exactley is going to fine you £1000 ? Is there a fixed penalty fine for trespass now ? ( No, I didn't think so ). If you hear a rumour often enough, it soon becomes fact !

errrr... the owners of the race circuit maybe? there is strict no fishing on it and if they say you'll only get a slap on the wrist for dangling there it's not much of a deterrent is it? i had a mate who fished there and was grassed up by someone who was fishing there at the time. my mate got a phone call at work and was told that if he was caught down there he was liable for prosecution and a £1000 fine by the security from the place. wether this was another angler warning him off or not thats what he was told. he also had his stashed gear lifted from his hidey hole which was daft of him as it was all top notch gear. if you want to try the place go for it but i'm just passing on what i know.

Nowt to do with the race track ... the water is on private land, but it's not owned by Brands Hatch Lesiure Group. The amount you would be fined would be determined by a Magistrate, not the security firm that looks after the race ciruit or the land adjacent to it.

I used to fish Oulton Mill regularly 1980 /81. Day ticket from the post office in Cotebrook, I think. There where lots of small carp in there, 6-8lbs best so far as I remember. Then it 'went private' and that was that.

Try somwhere else instead.

Oulton Mill is a different water ... it's run by Tarporley Anglers. They also have first dibs on Oulton Park, after helping the landowner do some extensive repairs to the Mill Pool dam wall several years ago.

i don't know if it's worth the risk. i know of some who have tried on there and as i said he got a bit of mither for it and a load of gear lifted from a hidey hole. it's a nice lake but i couldn't do the hole looking over my shoulder thing and living in a hole in the reeds for a weekend.
