It is heavily patrolled now, the top end by the race track staff who drive around in a van, who will tell you to **** off down the other end, yes been caught by these too they tell you to sod off down the other end because they have no insurance if a bike flys off the track and kills you

There is a lad fishing it now who reckons he has got permission, which could be true, both times i got nicked he was there I am thinking of going back to punch his head in. Its not you is it fatmanscoop

The bugs are the worst on there, I heard of a couple who have ended up in hospital from it, my ankle got hammered, must of been ten bites i couldnt walk on it, I dare any of you to fish it in summer

Much easier places to poach - with bigger fish.

Who caught the mirror? I'd love to see a pic of if, I caught two commons, cracking fish too.

I was desperate for a mirror, every fish I ever seen was a common.

Fines, Nah, kicking by the staff? LMAO, stop it.

The biggest problem is the bugs, you cant erect a bivvy, or any sort of protection, you have to travel lightly because its a trek through swamps, over fences, through nettles, through reeds, its really not worth it. I say that as I know how big the big boy is too, I found out the hard way.

Thats my advice done, if you still fancy it after that , fish it in winter when the early nights set in, theres too many people about now.
Is this guy for real???? Poaching on Private land, Caught 3 times and then has the cheek to say "thats me done on there i dont want to push my luck." to me thats hard faced cheek and its just another example of why so many decent anglers are getting a bad name!

C'mon guys we are talking about a bit of guesting on a "park" lake...that's all. It's hardly ASBO material...chill out. It all adds a touch of excitement and romance to the sport...

unfortunately this is the cancer which runs through carp fishing these days, do people think when someone says NO FISHING they are messing about, if they don’t want anglers on their water what gives you the right to poach it, you are trespassing which is a criminal offence not to mention the ammo you give to the anti brigade, some of you think you are smart ars*s poaching the place thinking you are the b*lloxs for getting away with it, you are just a minority which should just **** off into the sunset with your rods jammed up your asses and take your asbo's with you!!!!

There's a rumour going around that Joey Barton and his brother are going to be baliffing the place on community service for the next 5 years

Stop itttt, keep your terrible opinions to yourself, this thread is about information on Oulton, I gave the lad some advice, he definately didn't start this thread to listen to some old men moaning about people doing a spot of poaching.

Also, as a matter of fact I know The Barton's, so thats happy days, some legit fishing for me

What’s terrible about having a little respect for someone’s rules, that is a fundamental moral which society is built upon, how would you like it if you woke up one morning and there was 10 Polish migrants camped on your front lawn??? Calling it guesting or poaching is just a way to get away from the fact you are trespassers and should be brought to heal. Can you not see the damage threads like this do to the sport giving advise on how and were to tresspass on a water which is out of bounds, i wouldnt mind but it is not like the place has anything special in it so you make carp anglers look like w*nkers for nothing, a very poor call in my opinion.

Those polish lads would be taking a risk, just like anybody poaching is. IF you get caught, you face the music, simple as.

I understand about the damage threads like this can do, I do regret replying now, places like this are on the secret list for a reason. a PM would have been more appropriate I suppose. Its just sometimes the replies off some guys are so ridiculous I have to add my input.

Not sure if the original question has been answered but does seem to have gone off track into a poaching thread so will lock it now.
