I've just spotted this on the SoTAS website:

Stoke On Trent Angling Society - Astbury receives two 25lb+ Pike



It'll be interesting to see whether these fish are ever seen again, or whether they'll simply vanish without trace into the depths?

was up there walking around recently, and saw a fish of a very similar size in the margin just up from the boat club
