Yep, I use one that's about 10". Cost me 99p of ebay - shipped from Hong Kong for two quid and arrived in two days!

Keep getting people on the bank trying to buy it off me!

Just do a search on flebay, usually a shed load.

Have a pic of it with my camera on - will try and dig it out.

Can anyone help..With the canon powershot camera's is there a setup where you can change the delay time when taking a photo with the remote..
At the moment it's about 2 seconds which feels like a split second from the time you press the remote.??

Couldn't see anything in the instruction booklet..but im sure ive read it can be changed to 10 seconds but im wondering if that's on a timer when using the camera button.
Thanks

turn the camera on as though you are going to take a picture, press 'menu' then navigate down to 'self timer' using the up/down direction buttons, once on self timer you can use the left and right navigation to select 2 or 10 seconds

turn on the camera to take pic then press menu then scroll dow to the third item it says wireless delay press left and right onround silver button to get from 0 sec 2 sec and 10 sec i use the two sec because it gives just enough time to drop the remote and not to much for the fish to flip if you use the ten sec delay you seem like you are holding the fish up for eternity and it has alot longer to flip.

tried the air reales system with a thew digi cams but to no joy most digi cams have to have the button pressed in to focus then a littel more to take the shot i found that the air reales system from most camera shops had prety rubish ruber air bulbs so they split leaving you with no photo. but if you can get hold of the old air realese system the rubber bulb is made of a very tough rubber and wont split.

I have a fair amount of experience with amatuer photography and the biggest single mistake anglers make is not bloody smiling on the picture !
Fishing of any kind is supposed to be a pleasure !! at least look like your enjoying it !
There are tons and tons of pics out there with people NOT smiling, all glum and serious looking, such a shame to spoil what could of been a great photograph.
Also get a nokia N95 phone, 5 mega pixel carl zies camera built in with flash, takes photo's as good as any digital camera i've seen, a little less gear to cart round in my view !

Oh and another tip, very often a great picture is achieved through looking at your fish and smiling, this creates the image in peoples minds who view your photo, like your proud of your achievement, a picture says a thousand words so to speak.
Have Fun !

there are velcro straps that fit around the camera body that the air release trigger fits into ...this then activates the button

they cost approx £8 from most good camera shops ...

as for the air release tubing...iv'e cut my to the exact lenght for the perfect picture ...the line runs down the bankstick , along floor , under the mat and just the air ball under my knee.....it means i can set up for night shots and know that the photo will be framed properly
