Default New camera

Hi everyone,
I'm looking to move into the 21st century and replace my 35mm camera with a digital one. I don't want to spend more than £200 if i can help it.
However, the last session i did, i caught a nice fish and had to take a picture of it on my landing mat as i was the only one on the lake.
Does anyone have suggestions with regards to self portrait timers and tripods.
Any help would be great
Oscar

Alright Oscar,
You can get some really good cameras at the moment for under £200, just do a few searches ont tinternet...
You can but telescopic tripods now from loads of places really cheap, £10/£20
Just screw your camera on, set up a spot say using a tree/bush as marker, put the self timer on and bingo! Sorted.

Hi Mate,

Have a look at: http://www.cameras.co.uk/

Once you have a good idea of what suits your needs, I’d find a proper retail camera shop via eBay to pick up cheaply but still with all paperwork and guarantees, etc.

Same goes for the tripod, got mine for £3.99 – and that included P&P from Hong Kong!

I've been digital for a few yrs now and have to disagree with you matey,I for one was tired of getting pics back with parts of me or my prized capture missing Digitals rule!!!
I would deffo consider that particular model as an upgrade has anyone else checked out what all the function buttons do
