Got 18 days of uni left and then i am out fishing. But didnt do any work parties so will have another two agonising weeks wait for top pool

This will be the first year I've not fished the opening week on TP since I joined SOTAS about 9 or ten years ago!

That’s the strange bit, not really bothered.

Think its because I've been telling myself for so long that I would not be on.

That and the new challenges, etc. Dare say I’ll have a few twinges come the 31st though.

Will make it on sometime June/July for a few sessions if Phil and Big Ted have not emptied it.

Good luck to all that are though - no feeling like casting out on there for the first few weeks when there is no weed whatsoever

LOL - Most fish taking areas (for me at least) are free from weed till about the second week in July. I always concentrate on these areas for the first few weeks until they become unfishable.


Rarely do they fail to throw up a few good kippers.
