Here's a pic of my WCC 2005 set up on the St Lawrence in the USA, we woke up after a stormy night to fin the river had risen 3ft

Ah... I remember that mate.... wicked storm... I even had to land a nice fish right in the middle of it, with lightning flashes all over the place!!

Flights are cheap, especially with the weak dollar at the moment.... and the fishing is chuffin' amazing at times!

Yep you had a stormer in that tourney I seem to remember We had to shift all the tackle higher up the island at 4 in the morning whilst it's chucking down, lightening and 40mph winds. I also got hit in the ankle by a snake whilst draggin our bivvy through the brush but luckily I didn't keel over so can't have been poisonous which is a good job because we didn't see a marshall for two days afterwards!!!
