I am giving it ago phil, stupid time of year to start really but i just cant keep away, a carps never seen the bank yet on the lake, due to research i found out there was around 5 carp from the original stock all commons, non put in after, seen a common in the warmer weather around 25+ never been caught.

I am just starting to put some time in now, so hopefully next year i will be posting pictures of a uncaught 25lb+ common, thats the plan anyway.

It does mean fishing in a nature reserve but i am not damaging any wildlife and i am carefull not to damage the surroundings, and the bayliff said he wants to see a carp out to start making the club money i explained what i was planing and he said "if i cant see you i cant do nothing, and even if i did i could only kick you of" :- well that was all i needed, i am starting now but dont expect a fish untill summer 2007!
