Sometimes there’s no better place to be than out on the bank in order to get close to wildlife. So, what have you managed to capture on film?
A few of mine; The duck shot is taken from the Compound Swim on Birch just before dawn as the mist was rising – well happy with that one. The pheasant was on the Main Lake when I was stalking – he came right up to me at one point and I almost had it taking particle out of my hand which really surprised me as they are usually well timid. The Kingfisher was at Birch Grove a few years back, got quite a few but this ones the best. And last but not least, Reggie the robin, Blackwood’s resident particle thief sitting on my rods.

Jules, all them shots are quality, especially that kingfisher, was reading something on the internet about them being really hard to capture. Not seen many i must admit, seen the odd one at fishing fly past, but never seen one close like that, truly amazing colours. Chris |
