Default Indoor tanks

What are your views on fresh water indoor tanks. Im thinking of getting a carp tank for the flat , just wondering if it was hard to maintain and what size fish you could comfortably get in a 6 foot tank!

Keeping carp in a indoor tank isnt too hard compared to some tropicals, but they do make a mess in the tank, so a good filter and regular water changes are essentail.

Carp are very easy to keep, but be carefull what food you give them, its tempting to put baits in to see how they react but many of them will cloud up your tank, i tend to mainly use koi pellets which are fine

a decent filter and regular water changes are always a good idea when keeping fish

and also remember that they WILL outgrow your tank quite quickly

I have two Carp (about 1-2lb) in a 6 foot (I think it is) tank that you can have if you want matey?

The carp are just over a year old.

Let me know

One carp is black, orange and silver (gorgeous) and the other one is silver with an orange head

PS - I also have a big filter and light installed
