Carp are very easy to keep, but be carefull what food you give them, its tempting to put baits in to see how they react but many of them will cloud up your tank, i tend to mainly use koi pellets which are fine
a decent filter and regular water changes are always a good idea when keeping fish and also remember that they WILL outgrow your tank quite quickly
