![]() Its in a pond matey, you're only supposed to coat the dummy lol not tip the pot in.Doubt that it would affect the water quality if used as a treat

No chance can I have a pond
![]() I was supposed to be, thats why I got my two koi a year ago, but circumstances have changed so ive been puttin em in bigger and bigger tanks and now I dont think any bigger tanks exist ![]() Which means unfortunately they will have to go x 100Tried to give them to a friend who has a similar pond to yours (ish), but just before I did his pump gave way and he hasn't had it fixed, which means now that due to the weather being what it is now that its probably too cold to give them to anyone for an outside pond until next year ![]() And I think one is a boy and tuther is a bird.......they'll be gettin funky in the tank and dropin sprogs before long

A Chagoi will make all the difference, what you will find is that they also encourage the other koi to become more tame. Other tips for getting them hand feeding that worked for me include holding a frozen prawn just under the surface (be patient!), cutting an orange in half and chucking it in (great for vit c intake), or a lettuce has the same effect. It brings the fish to the top and they will play with and eat it too. Time is the key, as is a settled stock, it can take a couple of years to get them confidently chomping on your fingers but its well worth it.

So this one variant of koi is so much 'more' tame than others?
Why is this?
