we've got a natural garden pond with japenese koi and ghost koi, most of them will take food from your hand aswell in summer, the fish are about 15 year old now aswell so some are growing to a decent size . there was a sturgeon put in but its not been seen since

Its undergone some renovations this year due to the water getting contaminated with soil during the bad weather, I had to fully drain and clean and raise the edges to prevent it from happening again. It was like starting over from scratch .... I had new pond syndrome to deal with again I lost alot of the smaller fish from last years spawning, which gutted me after growing them on indoors last winter. Theres approx 20 fish in now varying in size from 4" to 20" mostly ghosties, a few koi and the rest mirrors
I've started a stream that will flow down the garden via falls, then into the pond, hopefully it will be sorted by Spring Then all there is to do is lay slabs around to finish it off
I'll sort some pics and put them up.
that sounds really nice can't wait to see the pics!!
