Default Fish Deaths

Hi all.. my pond has a mixture of fish all in healthy condition but all of a sudden i have 5 fish deaths from small goldfish to bigger koi.. they dnt seem to have any damage on the outside. was just wondering if any of you had any thorts on what it could be thanks...

Hi mate i take it you,ve done all the associated water tests,it could be a filter crash if there,s no outward sign of damage in which case all your readings will be thru the roof,ie ammonia,nitrite and suchlike,the first thing i would check is your ph readings then take it from there,hope you get it sorted m8 theres nothing worse than losing fish and not knowing the reason why,if by the way ammonia is present the dead fish may have what looks like their under body veins are standing out ie redder than normal

could be anything mate, could be high levels of nitrite, ammonia or phoshpate, low levels of dissolved oxygen or an un noticable viral/bacterial infection.. best off getting a water testing kit 1st they always come in useful and last for ages

if water tests come back positive then it is a good chance that it is paracites. In which case you can see some but most are to small and will require a microscope
