paypal problems

im having probs with my paypal,just got it,sent a payment for an ebay item,and its sent it as an e cheque instead of instant payment.what am i doing wrong?

Have you changed your card recently mate the last four digits will be changed if you have thus cancelling the old one out

I had the same problem mate, the e cheque takes 10 days 2 clear, my card had expired
All you have to do is update your details on the profile section on the site

You might be right guys, but I'd double check it Netbuster.

I think it's more likely to do with the way you elect to pay. You can elect to by from your pay pal account - and if there are no funds in it, it will ask for card top up in order to pay for the item. This is my understanding of how the e-cheque system works, as pay pal want to ensure they get their the money before they credit the sellers account - and thus it takes a few days.

However, if you elect to pay by 'credit card' then you should just be able to enter your card details straight away, and it should clear in the sellers account immediately.

same thing happened to me the other day
updated my card details and all went back to normal

just had a e.mail of ebay thay are giving me £5 off my next perchase in the form of a e.voucher have you had the same could be this causing the probs
