Default keeping fish

anybody on here have an aquarium? .... if so what fish do you keep?

I have 2 tanks in my living room a tropical tank with a catfish a parrot fish and a oscar and a cold tank with 2 carp in, a mirror and a common

they each have their own character and a brilliant to watch much better pets than this smelly dog the missus won't let me get rid of

Got a 3ftaquarium with a pair of gouramis in, along with 6 or 7 platys and a couple of catfish. Also got a smaller aquarium with a lemon shark in, hes about 7 inches now.

Got garden pond too, thats my favourite. Get the whip going in summer, land the odd mirror or koi ;-)

hahaha

my old fella owns a bit of land and dug himself a pond about 1/4 acre 12 years ago now, its full of fish including around a dozen or so carp all around the 5lb mark and he'd kill me if he caught me fishing it as he see's it as his garden pond .... but i can't resist sneaking a couple off the top when he's not around

My bro's got a pool in his fields thats big enough to cast a line in,only got roach and a few goldfish in tho .My ponds roughly 18 x 20 x 4 1/2 ft I tried to cram as many features in as poss,I might add a gravel bar this year My kippers are part et family so I won't be tempted to sling a hook in after em.(he he ,really, its cos I could damage the liner)

my old fella put a goldfish in his pond aswell, when it was first dug out just to make sure it was ok before sticking anything else in there, its not been seen for a few years but it went to about 2lb

blimey thats a fare sized puddle you've got there !, not got a garden pond of my own but i'm gonna be moving house this year with any luck, so i may decided to build one at the new place, my father in-law has built one at each of his last 3 houses and made an amazing job aswell, so i could always rope him in to help me out

I'll give him some carp if mine spawn,I'll feed em up for a few years then i'll be sneakin round in me commando style getup fer a bit of stalking It took us months to finish, when I say "us" I mean we started to dig it together, that lasted a day or so,then I did the rest, thats how it ended up so big!!Its only a year old so is still maturing.

Got a tank with a loach, a goldfish and some lovely carp. Got a lovely linear and used to have a gorgeoues ghost common. Can't help relating them to big fish in the water I fish, I mean, there's a little mirror that probably weighs less than 5oz, yet he, like the others all have thier names; Big Linear, Single Scale..etc

Got over fed. Hard to believe but fish will have a greater chance of dieing when given too much food comapred to not enough. Had a new pellet feeder and it gave them 18 x their daily amount in the space of 2 hours - not good!

Will try and get some pics up soon.
