Was the other way round mate, Bob James got a bit to friendly with Chris' lady.

Lookin back.....on Passion For Angling Bob James always did turn up to the lake or river a bit later than Chris. "Sorry i overslept" would be the excuse i'd give and all

Matt

Neither of the guys in Parp Poo are carp anglers as long as theres 'ole in my rearward gun emplacement!
It was truly an embarrassment watching the two gawps stomp through each episode like the planks they are!
Not sure which was the most cringe worthy moment, both from Jan Plank, either the one with John Hofgardner where he's 'stalking' or the one when he asks Lee Jackson to 'draw his rig' I reckon its the 'stalking' one.
A worse 'carp angling' series I cant think of
Passion for Angling every time, the scene where Bob hooks and unfortunately loses the big mirror from the 'Secret Lake' in Monster Myths is probably the best few seconds of carp angling footage ever filmed.

Anyone else remember waiting on a Sunday for "Out Of Town" with Jack Hargreaves, was the first tv programme I remember that featured coarse fishing

Next one was probably "Fishing Race" where anglers competed for the golden maggot, which if memory serves had Jim Gibbinson as one ofthe competitors

Agreed patos but the worst part of carp crew for me was fishing the overstocked lake with the "bagging waggler"

Passion for Angling every time for me - simply brilliant. The only thing that has come close since is 'Caught in Time'. Coincidentally, this was filmed by Hugh Miles and starred Chris Yates!

Mike.
