Thumbs up Windows Live

Live Local Search

If you click on the link above for Windows live, type Wrasbury into the search thing on there, when you've found the lake, click on the 'birds eye view' button and you get a cracking view of the lake. You can see all the shallows, bars etc. Gives you a proper feel for the size of the lake, amazing

Haven't tried it on anywhere else yet, the birds eye facility isn't always available though. Gives you a great angle on things when it works

just had a look but i have found that google maps are beter. ive been looking at one of wheelocks lakes and can see the bars on google but only see all the weed on the windows map. looking at both might be more of a benefit

the maps on this are clearer than google but where taken atleast 7 or 8 years ago.

ive just downloaded google earth and yes they do it in 3d, but im still playing with that !
