Evening all !

i am the bearer of good news... I have been accepted into next years London Marathon (yes yes i know some might say that the fat bloke is gonna lose some wieght etc... ) and was wondering if anyone would like to sponsor me?

not yet ginge.. its April 13th 2008...

by all means dig deep in ur pockets dude.. it makes good enough sense to me!

started the training too a couple of weeks ago... got myself kitted out with decent pair of Asics running trainers, i am currently able to run 4k... in roughly 25mins.. steady pace etc... will be upping the tempo shortly

Now joe... as much as we get on etc.. and as much as i had the address of your old place.. i can soon find you

run fat boy run.... thats harsh.. but essentially fair..

I have started a heck of a regime guys and over the course of a month have lost just under a stone in weight.. yes im still a fat git but a lighter fat git...

the gym is great.. im running 4k at the mo.. need to up it but taking things easy

right then forum members the big day is only 5 weeks away and i am running like the proverbial wind at the moment lol.... the thing i need though is your hard earned cash

remember that all the money raised will be going to help the adults of tomorrow.. the intergreation of disabled and disadvantaged kids of the UK into todays society... none of this 'I am disabled so i cant do that' malarky.. its about giving kids a choice, giving kids confident to want to make a difference...

so please do dig deep.. no matter how much you can offer.. big or small.. just think, that next round of drinks you buy could be money spent sending a disabled kids white water rafting or mountain climbing...

guys i am now nearing the day of destiny.. yep its on Sunday coming and my training has gone according to plan...

i have just updated my Just Giving site and i am currently sat on just under £1100 sponsorship.. i need £400 !

can i thank all those that have said they would sponsor me (and have done), your money is greatly appreciated! i need to get to the £1500 though.. so yes here is another heart felt plea to the wallets and purses, bank accounts and wages!

Help me get to the £1500... the kids i am running for want to experience activites we take for granted every day... that round of drinks on friday night would help pay for a disabled kid to go white water rafting, that chicken chow mein at the weekend would help a disabled kid take a flight in a glider.. YOUR money will put a smile on some ones face in the UK and no.. its not your Bank Managers!
