The song you posted was a total train wreck when it first came out about 6 or 7 years ago!! Having some Dutch cheese added has done nothing to improve it.

Frankly i am fed up to my back teeth of getting PMs ,emails and text messages regarding the attitude of certain members posting in this thread . My opinion of the so called music of today is very low i therefore very rarely even bother to either read or moderate this thread ,though i have posted in it .

However IMHO this thread has run its course and if we were a clubbers forum etc perhaps it would be an apt thread fortunately this is an angling forum and though we have a nonfishing section within the forum it is not meant for members or groups of members to attempt to preach that the style of music which they like is the be all and end all of the music world . Well fortunately again is is not and different people like different things including music . I have kids so am well versed in what is trendy and what is not plus the best part of my life spent on the door of certain night clubs and pubs has allowed me to hear the music of that day.But not that of today the kids have inflicted that upon my ageing ears .

We have a very varied age span within our membership and all i am asking is that you accept that not everyone will like the music followed by yourself and your peers and each to their own if we all liked the same things this world would be a very boring place to live .

Please feel free to continue to post the music that you like in this thread but simply dont accompany you post with some sniping remark about the post of tunes/songs a previous poster has made . If things continue as they have been doing i will not hesitate to close this thread and close anymore of a similar kind that are started

Look Stig, Callum posted something, I replied. Noone died. Nothing more than a harmless bit of banter.

Taking the mick out of someones musical taste is much the same as having a go about footy, clothes etc. - just normal stuff. No need to begin to threaten to close this. It's late. And my pc was still on when i came in so seen this.......no harm meant at all.

ps - if people complain about people's attitude....what the ****? It's an opinion on music, that's all. How possibly can having a mess around about likes and dislikes offend? How can a post about music run it's course - please tell me.....

its not wether the thread has run its course its just through experience we can tell when a thread can degenerate into a petty slanging match , so rather than let it slip that way its just a reminder to keep things civil .
