Survey in A.T issue on 21/03/06
This article asked you to complete an online survey at:
http://www.gcal.ac.uk./econsurv/anglersurvey.htm Went and had a look and started the survey but all they seemed to want to know was about how much you spent on transport,bait,food,tackle etc etc.I should have known it was going to be like that as 1 of the 1st questions was what is your household income.The best thing i can sugest is go take a look for yourself at the above site see what you think .  Your input as to just what they think they could do with this financial information would be appreciated .As i am still confused as to why they would want such information as its not fish they want to know about its how much we spend. i think its a plot by the government to see how much we spend on our sport so they can up rod licence fees or summat like that .
Just my opinion not that of any club group or associatiion.

I think its a plot by the gov also,but could it be more sinister one,what if they're tryin to find out how much loss there would be to local economy if they bought in measures to start banning pleasure angling
