The problem i find with politics is that you do not need any qualifications to get into it . Look at California what qualifications does the iron pumping Austrian have to govern a state . In our own fair land when John Major was Chancellor it turned out he only has 2 O'levels and next he was running the country . I am aware that some of the recent higher ranking members of the cabinet are very well qualified but what good did it do them Tony Bair is a qualified solicitor and Maggie Thatcher is a qualified Chemist ( Degree in Chemeistry ). Strikes me become a bit of a yes man/woman make yourself popular and learn your times tables and next thing you know you are running the finances of a nation

The best man won and I for one am well Chuffed for him and its been a long time coming too long in my opinion. I am convinced that he will do a great job and has the Potential to be one of the greatest US Presidents ever.

Its just a shame that there are a few people who never got to see it.......

A cut in the Military budget may go a long way to address this problem.

the beeb recently ran a series on the black civil rights movement in america, featuring martin luther king, malcolm X and other leaders, can we really believe america has moved on so far in 60yrs??
if you go for the comspiracy theories like the freemasons, illuminati etc,
which, have been responsible for assinating kennedy,various popes etc, to achieve "NEW WORLD ORDER" of which bush is reputed to be part of,
can we really believe he,s going to make a lasting difference??

Why does any 1 give a poop. There was more coverage on the bbc (liscence payers money) than there was on are own political matters.

If obama does what he stated, begin to pull US troops from Iraq an Afgan, then maybe the puppets from home will also do the same.. Saving us an awful lot of tax payers money.
