Friday gone, I was looking after my baby son.
Around midnight I heard a right racket coming from the loft.
On investigation I was confronted by RATS!!

We live in a rural area and I think they've come in off the fields and are nesting under a neighbour's shed.
Also we're having a kitchen extension done and they may have found there way into our house via a wall cavity

As you can imagine, I'm worried sick! Rats running around in our loft with an 8 month old baby in spitting distance.

I have now got some traps and will terminate the little devils ASAP!

Should I disinfect the loft-the house? what are everyone's thoughts?
