I'm into the killers and hard-fi at the moment. Love the gatecrasher and godskitchen anthems and anything else with some good trance on!! Also partial to a bit of rap/hip hop sometimes (especially the old dre and snoop stuff!!)

Thumbs up

I’m with you Phil,

Used to play loads of that when I was DJ’ing; during the warm up or when playing a chill out lounge.

Zane Lowe pmsl Hivvy Mital

in all honesty the music of today isnt a patch on what it was like 5-10 years ago, relying heavily on the established bands to bring us the quality tunes, rather than the 1 hit wonders that constantly shrowd the charts and airwaves now (what time is it...... it's chico time!)

The new talent coming through is a godsend, the likes of Arctic Monkeys, Roots Manuver, the Kooks, Corrine Bailey Ray (who is absolutely superb live), The Editors are all going to suceed!

right imoff! got more trainingto do

Anyone listen to the Blue Room on radio 1 Sat/Sun mornings? A show that is produced exactly to my musical taste. Wierd bits of housey stuff (Mathew Jonson/radio slave etc.), ambient electronic bits, reggae, folky songs etc. If you're fishing you should be up already and listening, but if not, it's still worth being awake for!

They also played the magic numbers months and months before anyone else, and most recently plyed that gnarls barcley track ,that everyone else is playing now, at least 4/5 months ago. Quality stuff.

Current listening has to be Wolf and Leopards by dennis brown, shirley bassey remix compilation, bit of John Martyn and redicovered the brillance of the Tricky 'All Back to Mine' comp.
