i forgot mention it had been treated, and it had weed EVERYWHERE.. couldn't cast in and bring it out without being caught.. bottom and top.
well with a mate fishing it before and getting alot of big ones out, it seemed very different when we went to when he went a few years ago..
thought id mention it tho as i wouldn't like someone go and have a bad fishing session cause of hearsay lakes being emptied..

I went Berny Riviere in june for 2 weeks,
First few days were good on the ' boat lake ' night fishing was constant..
But then it started to die down after that for about a week and half, i think with the weather and the fish starting to spawn they wasn't interested in anything that was being thrown out, and i was told that the top lake with the island in the middle had been emptied last september, due to it being taken over ( female sold all the 40lb + sturgeons ) and replaced them with small fish, which spoilt the holiday all together.. as my mate went 4 years ago and that was the best lake for big fish.. i personally wouldnt go back again for how much the actual holiday cost, but caught a nice 19lb 5oz sturgeon which i was pleased with! thought id give you that info before you decide go again as it might help out a little bit.

Ay up mate, went up the burly tonight. rob was there and a couple of others we pulled out the half lin, quiet heavy with a big hole mid way down her back, prob 20-22lb but very bloated

It was quiet mate only 3 of us on over the weekend a 22 was out whilst I was there, nearly had the biggun slurp my crust in a few times aswell!

Hi Deano, it wouldn't surprise me at all to blank on a tiny, pressured pond. The fish are often super cute on places like that, picking up or at least seeing rigs on many days of the year... Your bet would be a safe one Cheers, Toddy.

mat prestons managed to catch an 8bl lin today ...never seen it b4 and never heard of anything that small cumin out ?????? said it will be a belter if it grows well
