thanks lads

'mancity'... spot on mate, all but the last one are piranhas
...obviously the last one is a stingray

in order from the top they are

"blue diamond serrasalmus rhombeus" (black piranha)
"pygocentrus piraya"
a very large "pygocentrus cariba"
gold diamond serrasalmus rhombeus (black piranha)
reticulatus stingray

real easy to take care of
get a decent sized tank... a big external filter and your pretty much good to go.

if your interested in having some,
then give me a shout as i sell piranhas and import them from south america

i can get hold of most species so let me know what you want

Why wait until it warms up fish are moved and stocked all year round as long as you do it right there is no problem with moving fish from water to water or tank to tank whatever time of year it is.

However moving fish from a pond to a tank can be very dodgy as the parasites & other bacteria etc which wild fish naturally carry can become far to concentrated in a tank
