In my experience it just doesn't work that well it may be fine for a bit but sooner or later the tank leaks again .

mate i whould not bother, just buy a new tank, you can get a good glass tank from somewhere like pet smart for a few quid and it whould cost you alot more to have it reseald and it can not be certain it whould last any longer
just buy one the same size as your old tank and transfer every thing into it, will not take long just remember to turn your heater off and let it cool down a bit before you remove it to your new tank, move it to the bottom of tank so your heater stays under the water while you tranfer the rest of the water and content of tank, do not clean your filters and top up tank as a water change, buy the time you have your new tank up and running your heater should have cooled down enough to put in your new tank,

you could make it easer buy buying a new heater as well you could then keep your old heater as a spare as in my expereance of keeping fish a spare heater is a wise choice.

Hi mate, not that simple as the seal went i have had to get rid of all fish and plants so at the moment got no motivation to buy a £200 tank the the same again on stocking it and plants!
