Looks like a bacterial bloom to me caused by either
a=new set up or
b=a recent water change
either way its harmless and will most likely clear within a couple of days,always assuming adequate filtration

you say thats in your bedroom dave?thats a lot of weight above the living room m8unless your abode is a bungalow

Your right grim recent water change hence the cloudy water

It is abit heavy for my bed room to be honest

Have to keep my eye on that

Joking apart - just make sure it's sat across a couple of floor joists...otherwise your tank could well be migrating downstairs of it's own accord!

Cloudy water will clear up soon enough, but perhaps hold off putting any more fish in for a week or 2 until the filters have matured nicely.

ive had fish tanks for years (currently have 3 tanks running)
and ive never had one go cloudy after a water change.

have you tested the water?.... what are the readings?

maybe upgrading your filter would be better than getting more fish.
that fluval filter youve got wont be big enough to handle the bio load that carp will produce

Never the less,aiming old chum it does happen,you must have been fortunate,,like your good self ive kept fish for longer than i care to remember(even dabbled with a fish house at one time)and had a modicum of success breeding most of the popular species,i did mention the filter to dave and im crediting him with having the adequate testing kits should any misfortune befall himwe,ve all been there and experienced that,what with all the sh**e the water authorities add to the life giving stuff,what i would recomend dave is investing in some water treatment filters from the likes of devotedly discus or purity on tap etc,etc that way you can be sure your water changes have nowt but the good stuff
