what are the dimensions of the tank? (length, height, width)
i'll be able to tell you how many gallons it is then theres a really good aquatics shop not far from chesterfield that sells all kinds of cold water fish ... commons, mirrors, pike, roach, perch and loads of others well worth a look mate

they wont be your babies in the tank forever!
i have grown carp from fry, to a weighed 2lb in just one year! and thats just in a 3ft tank. have done it for several years to get some of "home grown" mirrors in our lake. lots to learn... just be careful not to kill them. ![]() great to watch, see them reacting to bait, etc. ![]() you have to be real careful to maintain some decent water quality. good luck... ![]()

none... now. tank not set up in new house.
i was only growing them from fry, for one year, until next years fry were available. by picking the biggest one from the bunch and growing that one i could acheive that size , but with two fish in the tank i had to hold back on feed slightly or the water gets too ****ty/water quality probs, etc. still got em to about 1 1/2lb's tho! then they were kicked out, no more home comforts, and back into the lake from where they came. all mirror's photo'd for future ID. ![]()
