Default River Dove (Derby Railway AC)
I'm thinking of joining up for a spot of barbel fishing this year.

Is anyone a member of Derby Railway? Any reviews of this stretch? I'm reliably informed they go to 13lb.

Have walked the stretch between Stoke's Scropton and Fauld stretches when fishing Fauld. Are some nice looking swims and have seen a few chub caught, if there's double figure barbel in the stretches either side then should be some in the bit in the middle

Don't know the price of the Derby ticket, but the Stoke stretch at Fauld is good and usually quieter

Do you fancy a bit of company Steve....(please, itching to get a few whiskers in the bag its been about 7 years since I had a river trip)...I know a few good spots owd...not too far away
