Default Bridgewater canal Perch

Anyone caught any good ones off the canal or know of any history of big perch? Must have some good ones in but any info would be most welcome.

Got em on both maggots while just general coarse fishing and also on legered worm on the far bank but the perch took worms intended for tench .Have tried spinning for them had a few ssmall ones up to a pound and a half but also had pike to 19 also had a bigger pike than the 19 but no scales but it was 2 or 3 over 20 .That was about 6 years ago though
