Default tench on rixton

as its still fairly mild for the time of year i fancy a go for the tench on rixton soon. has anyone caught much off here lately? if so, does the waggler or feeder catch the most?

it would have to be a realy hard go coz theres so may islands and gullys they could be anywhere (only spose be about 10carp at most)
p.s if i were you i would fish feeder mate neva seen many matchman catchin on waggler

a thought the stocks were a bit higger than that but av seen the amount off islands and gullys you used to be able to pull the boards across if you was doin a night on one off hte islands safest way i belive lol

just been for a quick wander but it got dark quickly and the sidewards rain wasnt good either! atleast i know where it is. and yeh i would like to go for the carp but you cant beat a bit of bit bashing now and again to keep you sane

I think it takes you back to your angling roots catching a few roach ,perch and tench etc or a bit of trotting for chub ,dace etc i tend to dust the match rod off a few times a season a season and have a half day or an evening of non carping fishing . However tying them 18s and 20s spade end hooks is getting a bit of a strain on the old eyes after 20+years of mostly 8s and 10s etc and that thin line cant see it half of the time ..lol
