I'm not racist but am 100% against the fact that more and more countries are joining europe and all of them seem intent they want to come here, why the hell are we so soft?
I was fishing edgeley resser with my disabled uncle and caught a 15lb mirror, as I was weighing it 2 polish guys came over and offered me a tenner for it 'they said are you keeping it? if not can we have it for our tea?'
As you can imagine I said go away you lovely eastern european people
But if they are that brazen to ask me in broad daylight can u imagine what they are like out of sight? A scary thought..............

Please keep your thoughts of revenge to yourself as venting your anger on a public forum will make any non anglers who may stumble across them think we are are violent bunch of xenophobes which we ARE NOT !!!.

I'm a Water's Officer (bailiff) and have only had a few minor issues when inspecting permits. Now if we are on a water and we see a bunch of "potential" troublemakers - then we are instructed NOT to approach them on our own but to ring for backup - a simple call to our head waters officer and we can have 10 lads down there pretty quickly - not to cause trouble or start WW3, but just to show a strength.

We also have posters up in a number of languages explaining to our Eastern Bloc cousins that it's illegal to remove fish from our waters, you must have the appropriate permits and, importantly, you MUST be in posession of a VALID rod license. Since we started putting these up, our problems have pretty much disappeared on local waters.

I've also seen some of the lads from the EA recently - dressed like robocop just so they can inspect rod licenses.

Whats the world coming to huh ?

Jim

I had an EA officer approach me recently as was shocked to see him wearing what I thought was 'stab' vest, when I asked him why they had to wear stab vests he informed me that is wasn't a so called 'stab' vest but a bullet-proof vest strong enough to with stand a .44 magnum and worth 3 grand
Shocking 'robocop' is a word that is most fitting!!
