Was on a Sunday and was really all about the countryside but often had a bit about fishing, first programme that I can remember watching about fishing prob mid-70's

screaming reels has to be the worst fishing programme ever made, hooked was good. Loved John wilsons shows when fishing was scarse on telly, pre sky days etc.
passion for anglling still the best series in my book with redmire pool the best of the bunch.

Passion for angling is an immense TV series. The redmire carp...that pike brace on the rivers, those roach, the barbel.... THAT was TV Angling at its best.

Having said that the more modern-day Hayes & Brown shows do have a place in teaching new tricks and also helping show about fish welfare and conservation, aswell as catching a few kippers
