Live baits eh didnt know you could still use em when piking i usually fish 1 on the live bait and another on the dead or lure .As long as the place your fishing allows live baiting.

hi there

ive tried live and dead baits.. and tbh the deads seem to whittle out the better fish seems that the jacks love small roach etc etc and small deads like sprats..

anyone tried lamprey ????

i've seen frozen lamprey sections in daves of middlewich i think you have to get in there early though, i know a few pikers who stock up early for the winter so it never lasts long
