Lakemore might be of interest to you m8 as its renowned for its cats in both lakes-but you'll need to take your carp porter for your wallet as its something like £25 for 24 hours IIRC?
Sale costs not far more than that for a year and you get a pub thrown in for free!Well worth float fishing drifter style small coarse deadbaits off a prevailing wind approx 2-3 ft deep as the cats are often spotted striking at the small stuff on the surface, coupled with very few pike present this method will cover far more water than sitting behind the usual ledgered squid or liver bait catching those 'nuisance carp'.... |

Failing that you could always overdose on them and fish for 1 week at La Ferme des Tommelles. Make sure you have medical insurance just incase you need your arm fitting back on after having it ripped off by umpteen mental catfish.

grimsditch only has a couple of cats in so does new pool, but in founders the cats spawned a couple of years ago and it was full of cats
but i dont know if they took them out. there are 3 last time i heard in the vale and the biggest always came out infront of the boathouse to half a tin of meat.

Grimsditch only has one left now, New/Spring has more then 4 in to upper 30s, Lymmvale has 3( the biggest hit 50lb a few months ago to one NWC forum member this year
) , Founders has at least 3 over 20 and 1 over 30+, Whitley has a defo 30+ and the other venue, on the secret list has 7 up to very big pounds . Well until I get it that is ![]() Lakemore is well worth a go and if you can go midweek get on Horseshoe. Various sizes in there, some lovelly Carp and you want to see the size of the Rudd. Felt terribbly embarrased when I skulldragged one in thinking I had a mound of weed and small(ounces) Cat only to see a 2lb + Rudd had taken the 10mm's Keith
