Default barbel fishing shropshire and cheshire

Hoping to do some barbel fishing in the shropshire and cheshire area does anyone no a good place to go.
If so could you tell me where to get the day ticket from and location.

Why limit yourself theres some good barbel fishing in the east midlands, notts and derbyshire..PM for details...

come on SH you did me out of a 20 last time with your 'lets go up there' routine....gudge comes on for an hour over my prebait and bagged a 21!!...I'll tell you where to catch a barbel if you will give me chance...

You can fish the Dane in Middlewich downstream of Byley Bridge, tickets on the bank or from Dave's.

Used to able to fish the Severn at Ironbridge on day ticket, again bought on the bank, but not been there for a long time and not 100% if this is still the same.

There's Barbel in Gawsworth main lake................Ooh the abuse im gonna get, I can hear the Purists screaming now!

Seriously though, the Severn at Shrewsbury has some cracking stretches.

It's definitely worth giving Dave's a ring regarding this stretch, I think that I phoned them to ask about tickets a while ago and they may have stopped them. For the price of a phone call, it's better off to be sure first. If you can still get them, buy from Dave's as the bank price is considerably dearer.
