You can fish the Dane in Middlewich downstream of Byley Bridge, tickets on the bank or from Dave's.
Used to able to fish the Severn at Ironbridge on day ticket, again bought on the bank, but not been there for a long time and not 100% if this is still the same. |

Seriously though, the Severn at Shrewsbury has some cracking stretches.

It's definitely worth giving Dave's a ring regarding this stretch, I think that I phoned them to ask about tickets a while ago and they may have stopped them. For the price of a phone call, it's better off to be sure first. If you can still get them, buy from Dave's as the bank price is considerably dearer.
