love tench cant catch them tho i have only caught 3 since i have been fishing which is about 4 years

I've had an enjoyable session this afternoon. In just under 3 hours fishing on my float rod I caught 3 tench (not weighed but about 5 to 6.5lbs each) a couple of perch and plenty of roach, 2 round about the 1lb mark.

.....and one tench and nothing else on my feeder rod.


......and rain stopped play.

iv heard loads of people say things like this.. its weird, i have caught more than my fair share

Me too Cal, i was on Gewryd the other week and it started raining so i stuck 2 15mm boilies on each rod, and started getting runs from tench about 1.5lb-3lb
