I sit down with a smile and have a cup of tea, then slowly drift off into the land of nod(dy)

It is hard fella but 9/10 im that knackered it just nod off.

What i dont understand is its easy to wake up rapid when that alarm screams off and were in to a fish but come a week day morning and that radio or alarm tone sounds beside your bed for work......................................

There no chance were jumping up and running in the shower

I've just copied this from something I wrote on another forum last September,
please forgive me.

SHROPSHIRE COMMON:

I caught one at 4.30am today, screaming run, which was unusual, terrific bend in the rod, after turning it, it came in easily, but was heavy.
Caught from p*** p**** swim, new pb of 34.14
No buzz, no adrenalin rush, just another fish. Ho hum.

For some reason, it did nothing for me, I didn't even photo it. This may have been a mixture of it waking me up from a pleasant dream, it was raining quite heavily, and my alarm was set for 6.00am as I had to work later.
Weighed and very quickly returned, and I did get back to sleep for another hour.............................................. .................................................. ..
.................................................. .................................................. ....
.................................................. .................................................. ....
....................but I do know what you mean.

.
rain, shine, snow, sleet etc.. dream of a lifetime, nightmare, diving out of bed and sliding down bank head first into water
IMO none of the above factors would make any difference to the capture
Any P.B needs picturing and a 30 common would make a stunning picture???
if I ever caught a fish and had that attitude with myself, i'd hang the rods up

But thats just my opinion
